January Haulin’

Hello you lovely people, I finally braved the after Christmas sales recently and went browsing for some steals, only to buy two things in the  sale (so typical). I thought I’d do a little post to show you guys what I picked up.

1

I found this Burgundy high neck crop top from Miss Selfridge it was £5 reduced from £12, woohoo! This will look so great with a pair of high-waisted jeans or disco pants with a leather jacket for a more wintery look or a pair of high-waisted shorts in the one day summer we have in the UK.

I picked up this Rosie for Autograph (similar) lingerie set from M&S because I’d been wanting one ever since my two best friends told me how amazing they are. It’s the silkiest and most comfortable set I own, it fits me so well and I feel so good when I wear it. I got it for about half the original price but I will definitely pay full price for these from now on as they’re so comfy!

2

I mentioned that I wanted the Lee Stafford Grow Your Hair Treatment in my Payday Wishlist a few weeks ago and I not only have I finally purchased it, but I bought two of them! They were 2 for £10 in Boots which is amazing because they’re normally £8.50 each. Now just to wait and see if these bad boys really work.

There’s one thing I love but always have to restrain myself from buying and that’s Soap & Glory products. They’re so good and they smell amazing but my bank balance just can’t hack it, so when I received some extra Christmas money I thought I would treat myself to the Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed Self Heating Detox Mask, I’ve heard such good things about it and I know FleurDeForce recommended it in one of her vlogs, so I hope this one is a winner for me.

3

I also picked up the Collection Contour Kit whilst in Boots, I’ve seen a lot of blog posts recently raving about this so I jumped on the bandwagon and bought myself one. I want to get more into contouring in 2016 as I am very vanilla with my makeup and I’m so jealous of people who master the art of contouring.

I didn’t really head into Boots with the aim of buying a mascara but I came across the Maybelline Lash Sensation and I remember Tanya Burr saying how much she loved it at the moment so I thought why not. I got the waterproof version as I’m going to Centre Parcs in February and I don’t want to look like a panda when I’m swimming. I’m so excited to try this out, I’m such a sucker for Maybelline mascaras so I hope this one doesn’t disappoint.

    1. They’re gorgeous aren’t they! The contour kit is so good for the money, I need to invest as right now I’m just using a foundation brush angled on my face so I’m probably not getting the best use out of it but I never realise how much contouring could change my face 😂definitely worth a try and it won’t break your bank xxx

      1. Thanks. I’m no good at contouring so don’t want to spend too much on kits. As this ones affordable I might try it☺ yes definitely gorgeous. I love her night wear too but it’s quite pricey x

    1. I’m going to be doing a review in a few months on the LS treatment, as for the maybelkinr mascara, I’m obsessed – it gives volume and length but it’s very black which I love because my lashes are quite light, it doesn’t clump my lashes either! Xxx
