New Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation: The Mini Review

I’m quite loyal to my Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation, if I do say so myself, I’ve used it for over two years and I rarely dip my foot into any other brand of foundations nowadays, so for me to finally purchase a different one, is a big deal.

I’ve only ever heard good things about the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundations and when I was on a spending spree in Boots, I spotted it and put it straight in my basket before I could change my mind. It claims to give you hydrated and luminous skin and last up to 16 hours. The foundation is enriched with a fruit therapy formula which gives radiance, hydration and a flawless finish to your skin.

I really do like this foundation and it’s a real contender with my Rimmel Wake Me Up, it gives a flawless yet natural coverage to my skin, it doesn’t look cakey or too much on my skin but gives me that coverage that I need because I have a lot of imperfections. In terms of consistency I actually prefer it to my Rimmel Wake Me Up because it feels a lot more lightweight on my skin whereas my Rimmel one is heavier. My skin hasn’t broken out using this, in fact, I think it looks a bit better because of it (if that’s even possible?). I’ve been reaching for this more than my Wake Me Up Foundation lately and I think I might have a new favourite, where have my loyalties gone?…

I bought mine in the shade Light Vanilla.

Until next time lovelies,

  1. I love this post! Weirdly I have just bought this in Light Vanilla for a change from my Rimmel Lasting Finish and I would agree this feels much lighter on the skin! I’m planning on reviewing this in the next couple of weeks so can’t wait to see if I turn out to think the same as you! xxx
