Hello, you lovely people! I’ve finally accumulated enough products to do my first empties post, It takes a lot in me to try and finish a product completely because I’m always wanting to try out new ones.
Mitchum 48Hr Protection Spray Deodorant: Being a roll on kind of girl this was never going to be a favourite product of mine, it smelt nice but I felt like it didn’t give me the protection throughout the day that my Mitchum roll on would. I’m a very conscious person when it comes to sweating and this didn’t ease my paranoia of smelling, so I will not be repurchasing it.
Diesel Loverdose Eau De Parfum: I received this as a gift from my parents and I loved it, I’d never smelt it before but oh my, it’s good! It’s a floral scent but it has a twist to it, I can’t even explain it. It was my go to everyday perfume and I had loads of compliments when I wore it. I don’t know if I’d repurchase this myself because I don’t often buy perfumes for myself (unless it’s my favourite one). It’s such a pretty bottle which looks so as a decorative piece in your room, it lasted me about 7 months I’d say which I think is fairly good considering the size of this bottle.
Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Blackest Black: I did like this mascara because of the length it gave my lashes but there were a lot of cons to it, it’s a very wet formula so there is a lot of transfer onto the under eyes and on my eyelids. If you’re not patient with it and rush applying it, it will clump your lashes and you’ll end up with spidery lashes, which is not the look I really go for with my lashes.
Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2 in 1 Wash & Mask: I really enjoyed this product, I’m a big fan of face masks so that’s how I used this the majority of the time. I have quite spot prone skin, so whenever I had a sudden breakout, I’d apply this in the night and leave it on for ten minutes then wash it off. It left my skin feeling smooth but you could see the reduction in redness and the size of the spot the next morning. I do find though that it doesn’t do much for under the skin mountain-like spots, only the gross squeezable ones.
John Frieda Full Repair Deep Conditioner: If I’m being honest, I wasn’t fussed on this product at all, I can’t deny that it did leave my hair feeling very soft after using it but there were no long term lasting effects, my hair didn’t appear to be in better condition after using this over the course of a couple of months. I was very disappointed because I quite like the John Frieda shampoos and this was a total let down.
Soap & Glory Thick & Fast Mascara: This is such a great mascara, it leaves my lashes looking full, thick and long and doesn’t clump, it gives good volume and it’s super black. I can wear this during the daytime or apply a second layer for a more dramatic nighttime look with a smokey eye. It doesn’t transfer onto my skin and it doesn’t weight my lashes down. I will definitely repurchase when I have run out of my current mascara.
Garnier Ultimate Blends Shampoo: I’m so indecisive when it comes to shampoos, I don’t think I’ve ever just stuck to one shampoo (unless you count silver shampoo when my hair is bleached) I normally grab what’s on offer and see how it goes. For the price I think it does a great job, It leaves my hair feeling soft but not greasy and I actually saw the difference in the condition of my hair, I also bought the conditioner which seems to be doing a great job as well.
Maybelline Volum’ Express The Falsies Mascara: Maybelline rarely put a foot wrong when it comes to mascaras, this one gives incredible volume to my lashes making it look like I have false lashes on (hence the name falsies), it also manages to give good length and make my lashes very black. It doesn’t clump them no matter how many layers I put on and it doesn’t make my lashes feel heavy. There’s not fall out and it doesn’t smudge underneath or on my eyelids.
Until next time lovelies,
